What it does

FM Pay lets you create a payment link for any amount inside EspoCRM and send it to the customer on WhatsApp or email. The customer opens a clean payment page in Arabic or English (with your logo and brand color) and pays by PayPal / card, InstaPay or Vodafone Cash. Once the payment is confirmed the CRM updates itself: link status, paid date, a note on the customer's record, and optionally the opportunity becomes Closed Won.

Main features

• Payment links in seconds: a new Payment Links entity with title, amount and currency (EGP, USD, EUR, SAR, AED, GBP, KWD) and an automatic number like PAY-0001.
• Connected to the CRM: link a payment to an Account, Contact, Lead, Opportunity or Case — each of them gets a Payment Links panel. Customer name, email and mobile are filled from the related record.
• Copy & WhatsApp buttons: the link page has “Copy link” and “Send on WhatsApp” with a ready message to the customer's number.
• PayPal confirmed automatically: the customer goes to PayPal's secure page; after paying, the link becomes Paid with the transaction ID and amount.
• InstaPay & Vodafone Cash: the page shows your address/number with a copy button; the customer enters the reference and the number they paid from and uploads a screenshot. The link becomes “Transfer to confirm” and you get notified.
• Automatic currency conversion: USD links are charged in EGP on InstaPay/Vodafone Cash at a live exchange rate (refreshed every 12 hours) rounded up to 5 or 10 EGP; EGP links are charged in USD on PayPal. A manual fallback rate is available.
• Per-link control: limit the allowed methods, set an expiry date and a note shown to the customer.
• Alerts & receipts: in-app notification to the assigned user (or all admins), an email to your notify address, and an email receipt to the customer.
• Ready filters: Open, Transfers to confirm, Paid.

How to use

1. Install from Administration → Extensions and activate the license in Administration → Integrations → FmPayLicense.
2. Open Administration → FM Pay → Payment Settings: business name, logo, brand color and page language, then enable the methods you want:
   • PayPal: Client ID and Secret from a REST app at developer.paypal.com; Sandbox to test, then Live.
   • InstaPay: IPA address or phone and the account name.
   • Vodafone Cash: wallet number and owner name.
   Also set the support WhatsApp, notify email, customer receipts and “Opportunity → Closed Won when Paid”.
3. From Payment Links (or the Payment Links panel of a customer or opportunity) click Create Payment Link: enter a title (e.g. “Website — first payment”), amount and currency, and save.
4. In Share with the customer click “Copy link” or “Send on WhatsApp”.
5. PayPal payments mark the link Paid automatically. For InstaPay / Vodafone Cash you get an alert: check the reference and screenshot, then set the status to Paid.
6. On payment: the paid date is saved, a note is posted on the customer's record, the opportunity becomes Closed Won (if enabled) and the customer gets a receipt.

Settings & permissions

• Settings are in Administration (admins only).
• Payment Links is a normal entity controlled by Roles, so sales reps can create and see only their own links.
• The payment page is public (no login); each link uses a random secret token that can't be guessed.
• Emails (alerts and receipts) need the system SMTP.

Notes

• InstaPay and Vodafone Cash are confirmed manually after you check the transfer (there is no official API for automatic confirmation).
• A paid link shows a “Payment successful” receipt page; cancelled or expired links don't accept payments.
• Transfer screenshots up to 5 MB (PNG / JPG / WEBP).

Requirements

EspoCRM 9.0 or later, PHP 8.1+ with cURL, and an https site URL (required by PayPal).
